1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Klonr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Klonr is an AI-powered personal assistant that processes forwarded emails, SMS messages, and other communications to extract actionable items and execute tasks on your behalf (calendar management, reminders, approvals, and more).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must not share your account or magic link sign-in credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Send spam, phishing, or malicious content through the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the API
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others

6. Forwarded Content

  • You are solely responsible for the content you forward to Klonr
  • You must have the right to share any content you forward (do not forward confidential third-party information without authorization)
  • We process forwarded content using AI to extract actions — we are not responsible for misinterpretations, though we implement approval flows for high-stakes actions

7. AI-Generated Actions

  • Klonr uses AI to interpret your messages and suggest or execute actions
  • AI is not perfect — actions may occasionally be incorrect or incomplete
  • High-stakes actions (financial transactions, external communications) require your explicit approval before execution
  • You are ultimately responsible for reviewing and approving actions taken on your behalf

8. Subscription and Billing

  • Free trial includes limited usage as described on our pricing page
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of your billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis

9. Intellectual Property

  • Klonr and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Klonr and protected by copyright and trademark laws
  • Your content remains yours — we claim no ownership of emails, messages, or data you forward to the Service

10. Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • We may perform maintenance with reasonable advance notice
  • We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Klonr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. SMS Communications

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive SMS messages from Klonr, you authorize Klonr to send you assistant replies, account notifications, reminders, and proactive updates relating to your account and the features you use. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any Klonr SMS, and you can request help by replying HELP.
