Changelog

What shipped, when. Klonr releases several times a week; this page keeps the honest record. Entries describe what changed for you, not for us.

  1. fixed

    Comparison pages fact-checked, corrections published

A reader (fine: the founder) caught our Ohai page claiming SMS was not available. It is. We re-verified every claim on all seven comparison pages against each competitor's current site and corrected what was wrong, including crediting Sense's chat assistant and Skylight's meal planning. Where we can't verify, we now say so.

  2. fixed

The French site is actually French now

The parents landing page had English hiding in the feature list, pricing cards, FAQ, and the demo conversations. All of it now reads in Quebec French, including the phone mockups. Prices show as 14,99 $ the way they should.

  3. new

    Cookie consent, done properly

A consent banner now asks before any analytics run, in French and English. Until you accept, nothing is stored on your device. Quebec's Law 25 asks for this; we think it's just correct behaviour.

  4. improved

    Batch requests get counted honestly

When you ask Klonr to add a whole list (every closed day on a school calendar, say), a new guard compares what it claimed against what it actually created, and finishes the job or corrects the count.

  5. improved

Dates from photos are now double-checked

When Klonr reads a date from a photographed calendar or flyer, it must now quote the exact text it saw, and the server re-parses that quote independently. Wrong dates get caught before they ever reach your reminders.

  6. new

Holiday dates can no longer be wrong

If a reminder names a holiday (Thanksgiving, Rosh Hashanah, la Fête du travail), Klonr now computes the real date itself and refuses to save anything that contradicts the calendar. Works for Canadian, American, and Jewish holidays, in English and French.

  7. fixed

    Partner approvals reach your partner

Shared reminders sometimes executed without texting the other parent for approval. Fixed at the root, along with the channel routing that quietly downgraded some partners to email.

  8. fixed

    Old reminders stop haunting briefings

A memory that said 'today' months ago could resurface as if it were still today. Klonr now anchors every stored date to the calendar, so briefings only mention things that are actually current.

  9. improved

Briefings held to a higher standard

Morning briefings now verify their own claims before sending: calendar deletions report exactly what was removed, weather comes from a live source, and stale goals stop appearing as fresh news.

  10. new

One-tap Instacart from your grocery list

The dashboard grocery list gained a Shop on Instacart button. Klonr builds the cart from your list; you review it and check out on Instacart.

  11. fixed

Reminder times rendered at send time

Recurring reminders now compute their dates the moment the text goes out instead of when the reminder was created. Series that drifted or repeated have been cleaned up.

  12. improved

    Your language, everywhere

Grocery lists, Instacart carts, and confirmations now follow your account language setting instead of guessing. Households running in French get French all the way through.

  13. new

    Instacart cart links by text

Ask for your grocery run over SMS or WhatsApp and Klonr replies with a ready-to-review Instacart cart built from your list.

  14. improved

    Better reading of photographed schedules

Camera-roll screenshots of schedules and tickets are read more carefully: every line item gets captured, and dates are checked against the weekday printed next to them.

  15. new

    Task triage for overloaded weeks

Brain-dump a pile of tasks by text and Klonr sorts them into today, this week, and someday, then checks in at the right moments. Built with ADHD patterns in mind.

  16. new

    Weather in your morning briefing

Briefings now open with the day's weather for your city. Tell Klonr once where you live; opt out just as easily.

  17. new

Income and expense logging by text

Text Klonr a receipt photo or a one-liner like 'invoiced the Hendersons 250' and it lands in your finance log, with a confirmation batched so it never spams you.
